What do you mean, it is perfect!:know::rotfl:. Problem is doing the fleet creates a problem, it changes the submarines .dat and .sim files. A lot of people already have changes to those files and it would overwrite them. That's why it's better to learn how to do it.

Payback. Sorry couldn't help myself.

Using S3D just import from the flag.dat found in the Library. Import the 'American.tga" and the "node-American_FLG" and it's child nodes. If you are putting it on a mast that is a separate object, make the mast the parent ID. If you are putting in on something like the Gato where the mast is part of the sub 3Dmodel then make the sub the Parent ID. In the sim file add a 'visibleunderwater' controller set to false and make the flag the parent ID.
If you don't know how to use S3D then it will take a bit more explanation.

Edit: If you don't know how let me know, I am willing to help you get your flags.

Standard US Navy procedure: The flag is flown from the flagstaff, at the fantail (that's the very @$$ end for any landlubbers) while tied up at dock. At sea it is flown from the highest non-moving point of the ship (which would be the conning tower), but I'm pretty sure that a sub would only fly the flag while entering and leaving port - never while on patrol. don't want it to get doused in a crash-dive.
