Slightly incorrect. The Royal Navy made a habit of this, from the armed trawler from which they stole the enigma machine, to the U110 also boarded and codes etc removed. Boarding enemy ships was a fairly regular occurrence to us Brits!! Unless of course, your refering to the American Navy.

This is what I found on uboat.net...

The submarine Vesikko which can be considered a prototype of the German IIA class (6 built). The boat was converted into a military museum in 1959 and can be found at the island of Suomenlinna.

There are more pictures of this one somewhere on the web...

Ah, yes, of course I know the Vessikko but I have it classified as finnish in my mind and not as german so I forgot about it :doh:
