But it's so much funnier to just keep it at "without oil they will get back to stone age !" indeed :yep:

Agreed

Might as well say....they'll go off and buy another country and use their original land as a summer holiday resort.

They have plenty of time to diversify and change/adapt to what will eventually take place.

They certainly have the money to try anyway.

Well money is a resource in its-self. You know, money produces more money etc. So they may become "oil-less" but not "resource-less". BTW arab funds are already present in many european countries/economies.

I didnt say they will go back to stone age, you are twisting my words, i repeat once more.

THEY WILL HAVE TO START TO WORK FOR A LIVING!

As in, they havent had to previously!

IF SOMEONE DOESNT GET THIS, HE IS THICK AND CAN JOIN MIKHAYL IN PLEASURING HIMSELF.

There's nothing to agree with or not in the article, it's not an opinion article, it's a factual description of economic strategies of an emirate, get it ?
Besides your "they" doesn't represent anybody, I've read you but you don't make any sense here, and repeating yourself with capslock on won't help it I'm affraid. Time to move on isn't it ? :D

I dont agree their strategies will play out as they plan, you seem to have the faith.

They meens the local residents of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Most of them dont have to work for a living.
When the oil runs out they will have to start working.
You really dont get it?

Happy times, you have much too happy nick to produce bs like you type, you cannot judge and piss on other people based on your people or else you would fall into nacionalism or even worse, colonisation, racism. Look at these people, what do you think about them?

Pointing flaws in the basic structure of economy in the Gulf States is pissing over them?

Looks like a roma family? With atleast two kids and third on the way, they should now consider birth control to help their household rise from poverty.

Mikhayl 09-08-08 10:31 AM

Just to get this straight. The "Arabia" country doesn't exist, thus there's no "Arab minister". It sure sound bigger put that way but the guy in question is Bahrein labour minister. Interesting thing, Bahrein has about 2/3% unemployment, that's better than most European countries so I guess that makes us all frickin' lazy (who's that dumb philosopher who said that lazyness is a virtue anyway ?).
Then, you point at the flaws in their economy (which one already, the lazy part ?). Fair enough, I suppose you're more qualified on the matter than a bunch of lazy Arabs sitting on dozens of billions $. You should apply for an economic advisor job over there, I'm sure they pay well.
Otherwise you seem to be good at digging deep, you may have some openings in the oil industry too.
