"Sh3.sdl" has already been altered by the "LRT v2.02 Final" mod.

I'd like to try your mod, but don't want to disable LifeBoat&Debris and LRT. What should I do? Is it necessary to use this file?

Hmm......... that means that you are using other mods wich modified the sdl-file.
In this case it is better to play without the "reworked GWX sdl file for UAM" cause i didnt know wich soundarrangement the other mods do.

The sounds would be the same only some planes will turn in higher upmīs without the reworked sdl-file.

Maddy, those are great! A long time ago I had a really good sound for the Bf-109, and I can't find it anywhere. Yours is very nice, as are the other ones. Most of the GWX sounds are okay, but I've never liked their 109 sound; so much so that I went back to the stock sound. Yours I'll enjoy.

I'm not sure about the 'Damaged' sounds, but then I haven't heard them in-game yet either. And, I can always go back to the ones I've been using. I mixed together the 'Engine trying to start' sound with the 'healthy' sound so it just sounds sort of broken.

Anyway, great job!

Just a quick FYI regarding the Me-109 engine sound in GWX, it was derived from recordings of the actual aircraft found in the final third of the video below... for the sake of obtaining a historically accurate sound including its characteristic "whistle" which is absent in the mod referenced on this thread.

No offence is intended regarding anyone's personal preference, but the Me-109 engine sound included in GWX is arguably more accurate is all.;)

Well, I'm the one who made the comment, and I'll stick by it. The first time I started in Kiel and heard one fly over I was shocked and so I locked onto it and listened. I'm sorry, but it's loud and rumbly and doesn't sound anything like the 109s I've heard, on film, on recordings and a few up close. The Db-600 series engines are smooth and silky. And when I listen to the GWX one I don't hear the distinctive whistle there either. It's also extremely loud compared to other in-game sounds. One of the first things I did was dump it for something different.

Sorry, but that's my observation.

No worries. Its your opinion, and naturally you are free to "dump" anything you wish.

I stick by my post and observations as well.:arrgh!:
