Open the dat file with S3D, use the 3D model window to find the gun you want to 'fix'. Copy the ID of that gun. Open the .sim file and edit/find, paste the ID in the find box and click in the .sim window to make sure you are searching in the right window. Click find and it will show you which one it is. You can check the Parent ID to make sure.

When you changed the Torps to guns i thought you put in turrets, you didn't. You can't make the setting changes in gunsradar.dat because it will affect every gun of that type in the game. (You could do this like ammo increases, but not fire restrictions.) Add two gun turrets and link one to each gun and make the restrictions in the turret file.
The 'traverse' settings will be how much it can turn, some can go 0 to 360 degrees, some can only turn part way. Example the guns on the starboard may only be able to go from 10 degrees to 170 degrees.

The "fire" restrictions are setting for what direction they can fire. For example a gun may be able to go in a complete circle, but you don't want it to be firing when it is pointed at the bridge. So you set up a fire restriction. Look at some of the other turrets and you will get the idea.

In USS_Clemson.sim there are 11 obj_Turret chunks, I tried every single one, reducing their min and max traverse to zero, so the turret wonīt turn, but it seems that torp. tubes arenīt there.

In USS_Clemson.eqp, guns are "NodeName=Mxx" and those torpedotubes are "NodeName=Txx", when I change it to "NodeName=Mxx" those turrets dont appear on the ship so I left it as is.

T01 and T02 were torpedos until you changed them, right? Now they are guns and need Turrets if you want to contol the movement. The torpedos did not use them when it was made. You need to add two more.

So Iīve added two new obj_Turret to USS_Clemons.sim but without change, turrets still shoot in 360 degree range, even when I set fire limits 10-170 and 350-190. Do I need to rename this "NodeName=Txx" in USS_Clemson.eqp to "NodeName=Mxx"?

Don't know your level of experience so don't take it personally. To start with I'm a beginner so you shouldn't even be listening to me.:rotfl:.

Did you rememeber to link the turret to the gun with the "Parent ID"?
Did you set the traverse or the fire restrictions?

You didn't make a mistake and set both values in both turrets did you?
As far as changing the T to M, I honestly don't know, but if you do, you have to make the change in the .dat file too. I think the fact that they are fireing probably means they are ok.

And you should really move this discussion to it's own thread, we are now guilty of highjacking this thread. Keelhauled at dawn!!!!

So much for the USS Iowa installed with any other ship, it seems to loose the forward turret , which drops any control of a deck gun or engine control. No other mods installed, was hoping to set up an Iowa vs Bismarck lol. I Love it tho, great job to all the modders.
