I think he's busy with school, that's my guess. I really want to keep the original league going, but add the new players. How should we work the draft? The live one was fun I thought, but it did cause some problems. any ideas?

I honestly have no idea how to improve things.

The fact that more guys from subsim seem interested is good. But for the past 5 years or so, the commissioner has had to draft 4 to 5 teams plus his own because of people not attending our live draft, no matter whether they were newcomers or return players.

An autodraft is an option. Some might not like the idea so there is the risk of driving people away, but it is very easy and most league champions become that way because of managing anyway, not because of how well they drafted.


I would like to keep the old league going as well, because we have tweaked the scoring system over the years and it was liked by all.........unlike the default scoring system that yahoo uses. I think we need Tak to do that though.

I'm going to put some work into this tonight. I believe there will be 12 openings, and there may be a small charge (we are going to get all of the bells and whistles:up: ) we'll work that out later.

There is a level of commitment, mainly, you need to be there draft day. (to be deceided)

Are you in the US? So you know what football I'm talking about.:cool: You basically pick 15 players and for each game you start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR ,1 TE, 1 kicker, and 1 DEF. Depending how your players do, you get points for how they perform during that game. Then you are matched up against another team. last year was my first year and I had a lot of fun.:up: The most time consuming part is attending our draft. (about 2 hours), The rest of the time, you just manage your team, which you can make as time consuming as you like.

If you don't follow football at all, it may not be your cup of tea.

In the draft, I chose players I liked:dead: , by my 3rd game, I was listening to every fantasy football show I could find.:rotfl: (i use to think the fantasy football shows were retarded, but I don't any more.) It's just like being a coach, I think I spent one night going over everu fantasy stat I could find. That's the perk of working Saturday night and having a slow night with internet access.:oops: :cool:
