The AOTD does contain the two ships you make reference to.....well mine certainly does.

Have removed prior statement.
I was looking at the files totally wrong.
Its the Community units that has all the ships except the AAAG1 & AAAB1 Flak Ships in EnglishNames.cfg. I had merged the 2, so it will be interesting to see if I get a ctd (none up to now).

So has anyone been able to figure out why the Community Units mod is crashing on my system?:-? I have been using the smaller 2.1 bugfix, not the larger AOTD...Bugfix mod & have always enabled the CUM right after the 2.1 bugfix. Like I said before, the game runs alright for quite some time before crashing when I've used the CUM.

I haven't yet still testing, but I've done two minor fixes.

Corrections

Folder...........Action....................File

NF_boat_Y.... Inserted ................NF_boat_Y_sil
NF_boat_Y.... Changed to English.. NF_boat_Y_en.log
F02B_.......... Removed................ F03B__ge.log
M11B_......... Inserted................. M11B__fr

They probably don't effect the game I'm playing.

When you're done testing can you let me know what you've fixed; which ship folders to open and how to open the files (if they can be opened with Notepad). I've got no experience with this.

I'll let you know if I find anything critical. :up:

Finding a lot of minor errors and omissions. Just tidying up, but it'll take a while.

Note:
In no way am I criticizing the excellent mod, I'm glad BBW was so gracious to let us have it. If I remember correctly he never intended to release it. Glad he did though.

Thanks :) & take your time. I'm not trying to be critical of the mod either. I just want to get the CUM working properly so I can enjoy it like everyone else.

Could I also ask for the "Badwolf Guide to Community Units Mod" when it's complete please?

I've just installed SH4 U Boat Missions plus a load of graphically intense mods on the same machine that crashed with Community Units and it runs fine.
