Look, I believe that people think they see ghosts, and that there are things out there that many think science can't explain, but submit a ghost story to actual skeptics (such as the crew at the JREF forums), and it'll get shot down pretty quickly, more often than not. It's actually very fascinating to listen to/read skeptical explanations of "inexplicable" phenomena.

As for ghost hunters, some are probably honest and with good intentions, but I wouldn't trust them as proof of anything.

EVP is actually pretty faulty, despite what I used to think. It's either a hoax OR you're picking up a transmission from something (such as an airplane or radio station; cell phones can even be picked up!).

Fraud all the way around. Banging noise was his buddy upstairs, he has horrible acting (listen to his tone when he speaks; he pretends to be scared, but anybody who has watched a second of VH1 knows that it's nothing more than sh***y, B-acting), EVPs sound like somebody talking into a microphone and editing it. I can sum it up pretty easily.

This reminds me of that Sci-Fi show "Ghost Hunters". They always do their shows in the dark, they pretend a bunch of freaky stuff happens to them, and then they come out in the end and say they never found anything.:roll:

It's hilarious at first, but then when I remember that they actually believe this horse ****, I get mad. If only they still executed conspirators like the used to... I don't know whether to blame their topics and posts on sheer stupidity or brainwashing from their paranoid parents OR on their irresponsibility in not properly administering their medication.
