I too have eaten spam and as long as it is cooked it aint bad. It is nothing I will dream of and I have never said "oh boy I could do with some spam now!.

But if I am over at someone's house and they serve me spam and eggs, I will gratefully eat it.

However raw spam sandwiches I can't stomach. Ya gots to cook off some of that jelly-fat.

If you have to eat a canned meat, I think you can do much worse than Spam.

Jelly-fat, Frau Kurtz is a one time vegan and prizes the jelly fat above all foodstuffs.

I remeber feeding Corned beef hash to my, then, young son and he burst into tears and accused me of giving him cat food.

I ate it when I was a kid...my dad bought it...weird I could have gone the rest of my life without thinking of Spam but now have the morbid curiosity to buy some...hum my kids are in for it lol. :)

We used to eat it at diabetic camp. We would go on week long canoeing trips and it was on the menu for breakfast. Basically, you burned it then melted cheese on it. Good stuff, I think we should eat some at the subsim party!:up:

I also had a world civ professor who was obsessed with spam. He used it to teach about medieval Japanese society structure.
