I'm intrigued at how they'll portray Gibson, having read his autobiography, whilst he's obviously a great hero, he's never ever going to sound PC because nobody was then.

Do you mean that Gibson never returned from the raid? He was one of the survivors (although he was KIA about a year later IIRC).
