I do know for certain that Silent running within that range makes ALL the difference. If you reload a game, Silent running isnt enabled even though the icon will say it is. You have to toggle it off and on to fix (stock bug from sh3).

I just did a test run of a Dick O'Kane sonar only attack on my standard tanker in the balmy Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. 5 hits for 5 torpedoes and I never saw the guy. This will be a very intensive course! Wilcke, you're a genius!

I'm out of time for tonight, but I'll fire it up tomorrow morn and make the video. Hope I can improve just a bit on my video quality.

I was using the icon to send the range to the tdc. I was also sending bearing via the icon as well.

Does sending bearing automatically set the AOB?
