Why not make a mission where Yamato have to fight against 150 U.S Planes, planes would be the Dive Bombers & Torpedo Bombers & Fighters if you want.

The Planes come to wave after wave first comes the Seach Planes what a locating Yamatos course & then First Wave come 80 Dive Bombers & then Second wave 70 Torpedo Planes.

the mission name could be this: Yamatos last Battle.

watch this video it's from Movie Name: Otoko Tachi No Yamato
that's was the video where i get this idea, i hope that someone can make
a mission like that.

I think that peabody is working on a japanese campaign for his japanese sub. Maybe we will find a way to make also a "surfaced japanese campaign" to use with this ship

front deck gun missing!

I love the yamato mod, but i have a problem.
I can't find first playable deck gun,but second and third AI guns work correctly.
Any one know the way to solve this problem?

he also made the Maya which means given time we might have a surface IJN campaign :)

Takao made the IJN names mod, Peabody works on an IJN campaign, I made a few subs, who's in for bases and stuff???

Surface campaign is in my head but not still have issues to work out. Trying to do Jap campaign but it was on US side and everyone (except me, I guess) used German subs. So need to do some conversion.

Damage moddeling is still a problem.

Just noticed your other comment about bases, they would be included with the Campaign, very simple addition. Little bit of work for flotillas. Unlesss you are talking about changing the appearance.

Yamato keeps...diving?!?

I've been playing the Sibuyan Straight scenario (boy - what a system killer - makes Crysis look like Pac-Man) and no matter what I do, my Yamato will eventually decide to go to periscope depth.

Is it possible maybe it's getting its "bow planes" damaged? Or am I just sinking and don't know it?

My hull damage reads "0", so I'm thinking maybe some sub-related component (which, of course, wouldn't be on a BB) is getting damaged and causing the ship to go under a bit.

Any help appreciated...

I saw the excellent deck texture improvments mentioned by Mr. Miner, are they in any of his fine mods or packs? I would love to have that degree of accuracy.

That skin is Krillers, but I updated it to make historically accurate decks, without huge metal bars in it.

I did this also with Kongo, both Ise BB's, Maya & Takao and Mogami.

Downloaded this last night finally.

First time out...came across an American Battleship task force. 15 ships, lead by 3 BBs (Nevada, New Mexico and a Colorado) plus heavy and light cruisers and 7 or 8 destroyers.

...Shells were flying everywhere...Yamato was taking a beating but gave more than she got...

...The first Battleship start to list, then the 2nd battleship in line blew up with a direct hit to it's forward magazine...

...The last battleship tried to turn away, but it too joined it's brothers...The cruisers and destroyers were left alone, and they proved to be no match for the Yamato...

In the end...

The Yamato was victorious

She continues her campaign later on tonight.

If you go to Sh4 editor see what the meters are in depth .. if you change to zero it shouldnt be a problem

It sinks because there are compartments being damaged , its just theyre not linked to the compatments in the upc file and as such cant be repaired
