Sorry but i'd like to understand well this  for improve! |
Sure thing.
http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/1...nelyzd1vo2.jpg Here is your QE - almost all straight lines. Now, watch the following (the red line in the middle of the second pic is quite hard to see) http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/915/dhm2576ft0.jpg http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/7320/dhm2576aqw5.jpg As you can see, the bow is sloping and the decks are as well. There is no straight line. I think you need to raise the forward bow portion to create a sloping image and do the same with the decks. The following images may illustrate this better: http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/7...nelizabps7.jpg Though an overrepresentation, once can very well see the "curved" decks. http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/3432/0144nf0.jpg# Which is also why the photo of her from the above angle looks different than your "photo" of the model. I hope this helps, though I do not know if there is a solution for this. Sorry for causing you the extra trouble. Cheers, Paul |

Very Good VonDos, am anxious to install,:yep: what do you think of the idea of building the Titanic?:D
|
Titanic :hmm:
For now i've a lot of WW2 era ships request: caronia, dnepr, uss carriers...; RMS Titanic was a wonderfull ship (short life, but great!); only a few ship have change the navigation history like her (another one can be the Great Eastern, i think); :hmm: I can't say "no, i'll not create a Titanic model", just because this is a good challenge; btw, not now :x |
No problems VonDos, I understand, just can't wait to sink the Titanic, wonder what the pictures would look like,;) your QM going down looked very realistic, made my hair stand on end!!:yep:
Thanks. |
a suggestion for your next ship
all your ships look great. as i have followed the history of most of the ships youve created i think its great when one shows up in the attack scope, however i was wondering if you have thought of creating the White Star Line RMS Olympic as she was a successful WW2 troop ship as well.

RMS Olympic in WW2???
Quote:
The RMS Olympic did not transport troops in WW2. She was long gone by then, having been scrapped in 1937 at the T.W. Ward Scrap Yard. |
Shame that no one thought of preserving the RMS Olympic as a museum to her sister the Titanic.
