I'm in the same boat. Running Vista Ultimate 32 with an 8600GT. Vista has never crashed in the three months I've been using it. Not one single crash. I have encountered problems in Battlefield 2 - it likes to crap out and give me memory errors after a while, but lowering the texture quality to 'medium' fixes that. That problem could be related to nVidia :huh:

I've run BF2 on GT8800 and had no problems. But like I said earlier, every PC is different. :yep:

Hey, ATI/AMD-fanbo ...uhm ... Subman, have you considered that there are way more nVidia cards than ATI?

Oh, and XP is still the superior OS.

Have you been reading above? :D I have NVidia, and that is the cause of my headaches at the moment! I do have more ATI that NVidia however.

My MS friend is bitching about his 8800 too - drivers! Imagine that??!!!

I'm not saying NVidia is bad, I'm saying I have issue with their drivers. I WANT MORE SUPPORT!!! That is the short answer.
