You don't to check (nor have) the hull integrity indicator, as when the boat starts taking damage you hear it and your officers report the damage to you instantly, almost crying. :) It's the very moment to blow tanks.

I'll help breathe some new life into this 7 year old thread, why not...
I noticed that my type VII started suffering pressure damage around 225 meters. I'm not sure about the IX, because I rarely use them. I have taken the XXI down to 285 before it started to pop the rivets. Recently I (inadvertently) copied 'das boot', and the U-96. I was near the straights of Gibraltar and got sunk. Down and down the boat fell, until finally a jarring impact... I looked outside the ship and saw it was sitting on a shovel-full of sand. In over 220 meters of water (but less than 250). Unfortunately, we had taken too much other damage and the diesel engine room was completely flooded, all the way to the ceiling. The end wasn't much farther away after that... (I was hoping I'd have enough time to deal with the battle damage and pump out the water, but there simply was too much on board, and not enough time to work with). |

i didnt see that topic was so old, but no matter. time is nothing... lol anyway i pushed some limit with my sub like minutes ago. going to 275 meters without explod what a progress lol.. sadly no screenshot that time, bandicam was off -_- i removed the gaugedepth mod that permit you to go deeper with your sub around 400 Meters. i did a new and fresh install with some big dials sliders they are way better now and readable for sure .... ! |
