Damn. The worst I knew was when the other guy would actually keep sitting and leave the other end stuck in mid-air. That was the fun thing to do. What kind of maniac would just jump off and let you fall? If people like this actually exist, they need to have their spine broken so that when they grow up they don't have the means to kill anybody.
In one of the playgrounds I loved, there was a really tall three-sided vertical ladder in the middle of the open grass, with no trees nearby, allowing wind to blow quite decently for a little kid. When I went there for the first time, I couldn't climb to the last steps. It was windy and beginning to rain. I think I made it half-way at best. Some other day, my parents took me to that same playground again, and realizing I was there, I decided it was time to beat the ladder, who knows if I'd ever have another opportunity. And so I went there and climbed to the top (it wasn't raining this time). Some months ago I visited the park this playground is in. The ladder was gone. :cry:
