Yes Reallydedpoet i tried those values on that post and man what a difference, feels like i would imagine it feels like on a sub in rough seas, think i will stick to ROW in memeory of dave and his great work along with those values. I like the foam mod, but maybe down the road some, thanks.

Even in calmer seas you get nice movement with the sub :yep: You could always do two installs, one with this great mod and one with ROW.

Do you use this mod, i thought you said you do not use it. If you do and you use those values does it pitch and roll better. Time for bed, will check your response in the morning, take care mate.

Sorry, not at the moment. I guess you could try it with that other mod, see what happens.

How can this mod effect roll, pitch, sea state when it only replaces SEA FOAM files?

i wont be home till saturday to actually try this out. I'd like to try this mod because i do want more realistic sea foam, but i dont want to undo ROWs roll pitch, sea state controls...

Because it also requires the Environmental Color Mod, which includes a modified scene.dat. Which does not alter the sub's roll and pitch parameters, but it does alter the sea states (among heaps of other stuff). So I guess it's an either/or case, I'm afraid.

I tried this New Foam MOD and founded it less realistic than your previous 2.0 environmental mod.

The foam colour doesn't seem white/clean enough, and when i zoom out in the free camera to get a good view on the ship and sea below, i can easily say where the foam tile start and end. It looks like hundreds of foam squares tied to each other with waves movement on top of it.

I just unloaded it and i keep running Environmental color 2.0 MOD on top of all the ROW mods so the shaking water issue is resolved and the game looks great.

Please take this as a constructive critic and keep on the good work mate! :up:

P.S I would post a screenshot to better illustrate what i mean... if only i know how to do it. :D

I like the 1.1 version, awesome work ! It's way better, but i could use more white and brightness in the foam so it would really cut with the ocean. Could you use the same foam color than the first version in 2.0 environmental mod? But keep the last foam ''pattern'', it's the most realistic yet.

We're closing to real life environment! :yep:

When I enable the Environmental Color Mod, it notes that the following files are effected:

shafts.dds, sunhalo.dds, and peak.dds from the "ROW textures with SunHalo camera flair MOD"

Am I correct in assuming that I will Not lose the sun flair, halo effect, etc by enabling this Environmental Color Mod?
