Great post! It's hard to get them to talk. I hang out with a group of vets (mostly destroyers and corvette people) at the local naval museum and they will answer direct questions, but rarely do they reminisce. After hearing that the SH4 Add-on would have Type XXI U-boats, I asked if any of them had any experience with them. Only one had heard one of them in the last days of the war off the English coast, and it was moving so fast they couldn't get a fix on it. They got one ping and it was gone. It makes me look forward to trying one out.
