If you have an old version of Tmaru on your hard drive somewhere, just grab the gato conning tower dat file out of it. Works fine, and will be in next version of said mod.

Nope. I've not downloaded or installed any mods. The game is fine for me the way it is until the patch-cycle and resulting mod-refine-cycles are more mature. I can live with things the way they are until UBI fixes.

Which of the Anvert files fixes this? I couldn't tell by the filename in the referenced link mentioned here. I suspect UBI will be offering a fix for this soon. I can wait since I don't USE those dials.

so far my dials are back in the gato, gar, balao, and tambor. will report problems if, well, i mean when i find them. hope this helps for some that may have this lil' bug.

Did anyone ever figure out what in the v1.4 patch version of the USS_Gato_CT DAT file caused the no dials problem?

Rather than using an old/modded version of the file as a work around, I would like to use the version supplied with the v1.4 patch. Maybe it can be edited to fix the offending bits.

The description "RnL_int_Periscopes_1.3" Does not show up in any of the download descriptions on the link above. Nor do any of the other file descriptions have the word "gato" in them on that filefront page.

When you get to Anvart's FileFront page you will see a black header bar with orange letters that says "File Directories". Below this, next to a small folder icon, click on "SH4ver14". The fix is currently the first file under the blue header bar with the words "Anvart's Files" and is called "DialsGatoCT_Fix_14.7z". Grab that and you should be good to go.

Thanks Anvart!

Whadda you mean NO dials ?? That's just downright despicable!

Hmph, guess I'll just have to use Anvart's DialsGatoCT_Fix_14.7z :arrgh!:
