The german secert weapon tank in a french Renault FT 17. The Australian War memorial has one in it's collection.

They date from WW1, but were still in use at the begining of WW2. The Germans captured over 1,000 of them when they took france. They used them for airfield defence. There greatest weakness was the drive wheel for the tank treads, not only was it large, but it was made of Wood!:huh:

Reminds me of the days when I was living in Holland (Dordrecht)....Rememberance Day and every grave was tended by a separate schoolchild for the day....very moving experience :cry:

And I thought the Germans didn't like to kamikaze.

what I showed in the pictures is just the vehicule bay ;)
you got a whole section with documents and other paperwork like propaganda, news and warents etc etc. very interesting to read too
