There are only 2 relevant hat textures available [sapca_od01 and sapca_v02od01] that I know of...

Cap'n Cox customized od01 for O-gangers, but did not customize v02od01. He also included a custom crewmembers3D.upc file in the sweaty shirt - big cap mod package. As a result, the O-gangers wore the first cap [od01] and the CPOs wore the second [v02od01].

I figured this out and, using Cap'n Cox's customized big cap texture, I found some anchors, photoshopped a CPO cap and substituted it for the second texture [v02od01]. Works good in my game. No crashes, no weird stuff and everyone is wearing the right style of cap. No missing hats.

If you are missing an Officer cap, it may be due to the crewmembers3D.upc file in your game. I posted my custom .upc file for download (it prevents missing caps) in the first post (it also prevents missing raincoats and missing rainhats - you should see how screwed up that vanilla .upc file is:down: it took a lot of editing to fix)

Or you can download and install Cap'n Cox's sweaty shirt - big cap mod. It also has a .upc fille that prevents missing caps

The Dolphin pin on the shirt's for the officer's is what's missing. Everything else is cool. Better than cool.

Hmmmm, ya don't say...

Missing gold dolphins?... don't have an answer for that one except I photoshpped another one of Cap'n Cox's files to change the color of the silver sardines... I don't think I posted that file... I'd better check that... nope, I surely didn't...hey, wait a minute, it's in my first post of this thread

Everything else looks great so far just waiting for rain LMAO!

I'm slightly confused.

Just for clarity, do I need to have Captain Cox's Sweaty shirt/uniform/hats mod installed, and then this over the top of it?

or just this.

And if just this, is there anything from Cox's that is not included here, and thus lost by using yours?

I just sent you a PM with a crew member 3d file the problem might be in there it is very differn't from the one in your mod.

Also the crew in the conning tower do not have the Dolphin pin so I think if you add the uniforms for the 3d file all willbe fixed.

Goes on top of Cap'n Cox's sweaty shirt - big cap mod.

Thats the way I have it and it seems ok so far...

Sounds reasonable...I'll get back to you tomorrow (on career patrol).. my uniforms are 'tuned' to my .upc file...

Remember... there are QUALS (w/silver sardines) and NON-QUALS (NO silver sardines)...

So every blueshirt may not have a pin... and not every khaki will have a pin... only the blueshirts in the Gallery screenies will have pins... only the khakis in the Gallery screenies will have pins... everyone else is still working on it... as it should be.

Yep. Some of the blueshirts & khakis will lose their silver sardine pin and one of the khakis (i.e. the LT ONLY) will have a gold sardine pin. Other than that, I can't think of anything else .:hmm:

I kinda like that idea, we always had a number of non quals at the beginning of each patrol.

That's a nightime screenie in the control room. If you want Blue, then get yourself a Sugarboat out of Manila.:ping:

Crockett 10-23-07 05:53 PM

What...?
I haven't ever seen that before. There's just always red lights glowing at night.

Crockett 10-27-07 05:15 AM

Seriously, What is that blue light?
Is the picture filtered or...?
