You say you have an older rig Jas. I'm in the same boat...no pci-e slot, strictly AGP. I don't know what type of RAM your system uses, but mine is the ol' 400MHz
PC3200 DDR. If your in the market for it, and that is the type you use, I just picked up 2 Gigs (2x1024 sticks) @ Tiger Direct for $112.00 (U.S.) w/the shipping. Here's the link to it if your interested.

Glad I could help. I currently only have one gig of ram in my system, and it's the Ultra like in the link. I don't know what the general consensus in the forum is as to "the best ram", but I've had no troublw with it at all, and it usually seems to be cheaper than the Corsair. I ordered it yesterday, and after looking at the UPS tracking, I see that it's already here in my town, but they don't run on Saturdays, so I should get it Monday. I'll let you know if I see any big performance jump. Really looking forward to it.

I've had nothing but good luck with them in the past RDP, and I've purchased RAM, Vid cards, and monitors through them. They're generally pretty damn quick with the shipping as well. I'd recommend them to anyone who hasn't used them in the past.

Yeah agreed, they are good, my only complaint is I thought they were shipping to the local Post Office, instead it was on my doorstep, good thing it wasn't raining. Other than that little faux pas, very happy with dealing with them :yep:
