Best o' luck to ya lad! If you insist on saying that GWX introduced those problems... You are only twisting words to meet your desires of the moment. As you show your colors here:
FACT: The problems you describe are holdovers from STOCK SH3. Just because we modify a file or data set... doesn't mean that we modified everything in that file.

When I said that the real cause for concern is GWX-specific I was not referring to the bug; I was referring to the cause of your concerns, namely my accusation that GWX *might* have caused the problem, and as I said I shall be careful in future not to suggest that this is the case, with this problem or any other.

In other words I have vowed to respect the request that both you and ref have made of me in this thread.

I just had to dig this thread up cos I just reinstalled stock (need stock files for a mod I'm working on) and the problem isn't there. Then I installed GWX over stock, and voila - the problem returns.

So, I was right all along! Damn, I don't even know why I listen to you guys.

If you want screenies just see that (correctly named!) "GWX Scope Reflection" thread.

This will likely be ignored but I'll ask anyway - is it going to be fixed in 1.04?

I would say that Kpt Lehmann's response in the thread you mention stands.

i have no problems with GWX. and IF you have that much problems with GWX.
then:
1. dont play it
2. play stock or a other supermod (NYGM or WAC)


WAC is fun, GWX is fun, stock is fun to (for MP game's).

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried WAC but unfortunately my machine can barely handle it. :(

For clarity, I'll say once more: I don't have "that much" problems with GWX - on the contrary, I've sung its praises on several occasions. This is a minor problem that I wanted to fix myself, which is why I started the thread. I just didn't appreciate being flamed by the GWX crew for doing so.

you can try to switch the GWX data with the Stock data. (just the sub file's)
see if that works

Allow me to give you one small piece of advice........DO NOT SWITCH THE FILES....you will have game problems beyond your imagination :nope:
