I love NASCAR, used to like it, and love baseball, until that strike in the early 90s, and then dropped baseball.

It might sound silly, but I like the competition level in Nascar, I like the fact that they teams use real jacks, the cars aren't fuel injected, They are V8 four speed cars, I understand what all the drivers are saying. I like the history. I like to read about Smokey Yunick, Fireball Roberts, Jr. Johnson and such.

It's loud, brash, and the cars are indestructible compared to Cart or F1.

That's it, I'm basically just a redneck, I guess.

the racing at watkins glen is probaly unforgettable. all those passes in the grass? if they did that in the current car theyd be runnin in the back most of the day. i cant wait to see what will be like at talladega and the 1.5-2.0 mile tracks next year. and that means i really cant wait till i go to MIS next june. ive been going every june race for the past 4yrs. i went to the august one for the first time this year-IT SUCKED!
