LEDs really don't mean much. You can have no performance-impacting activity and have the LED stay lit.

what do you mean as more costly ?...
More expensive (computational/performance) wise.

Would they put the nopaging setting if it wasen't there in virtual setting
Because, just like the Task Manager, many, many things are mislabeled to make them "easier" to understand.

Go read Windows Internals to gain some knowledge about the Virtual Memory Manager and paging. You'll understand why, in general (which means, gaming, every other end user task, and many server-level tasks), disabling or changing page file settings really doesn't do much or is detremental to performance.

Thx's for your in put, I think I will stay with what works best for me.....CHEERS

I finaly think i found out what is wrong with my system..

after running SHIV on one 7900GTX.. i got about 40 to 60 fps with vertical sync that should be normal since i have a 60hz lcd monitor.. using 1900x1200 resolution

after putting in the second card again and turning on SLI again i got 9 fps...

the other 7900gtx card kept resetting settings, so i guess it's broken..

after a call to dell .. for ages the agreed to ship me a new card and SLI bridge..
within the week it should be up and flying again :D

Yup, a working card should do the trick.
