I they look cool like a masterpiece of enginering and make a heck of grumbling sound; they are german. If they look like paper planes in the skies and are in a hurry for a tea-party, then they are tommies! :smug:
Also you can try to identify the flags or other air force markings ;)

the best WW2 plane with a propellor was a spitty with a BF109 engine (this is truly tested) and the germans wished they had the planns of a spitty long before the war started :know:

Yesterday I played Scapa (GWX 1.03). All was going perfect; decks awash as I crossed the sunken ships barrier on the east side; even a blind trawler didn´t see me at 1200m. But when I was in fire position at 2500 meters from the Royal Oak, all the lights in the world converged on me and later a rain of shells and bullets, which crippled my hull to 27%. I decided to die fightting and launched a narrow salvo; all four eels hit the target. Dive to periscope depth to be rammed, shot and depth charged.

I don´t know why, but getting near the east shore of the bay the escorts seemed to lose my trail. Perhaps were they afraid to be blown with their own depth charges or were fully incompetent? Finally I managed to crawl towards the east entrance (the same I used to enter). Nobody pursued me:o :o . Al last, surface and ahead flank... The Knight´s Cross (and a new Uboat) is waiting for me.:yep:
