It is up to you, but if you are devoted to the game enough to mod it, you should at least try some of the mega-mods here at Subsim.

Many issues have been fixed, or at least improved.

Thanks for reawakening this thread, which is extremely interesting. As time permits I'm going to review the mods list and see what can be included anew.
