Having enough time to do this kind of research for fun and no money...that's awesome. I really hope you're retired or something.

:o

Amazing stuff.

Very interesting reading Nematode. Thank you for taking the time to share it all with us and for the clarity of your work. Once I've figured out how to use the mini tweaker I shall be making the adjustments you list, even though it will no doubt make it even harder for me to sink ANYTHING.....(but thats more about my speed estimation through the periscope than anything in the game ). Excellent work !!!

I took the liberty and time to type all the data you have come up with Nematode and make it into a JGSME installable mod. I hope that you do not mind that Nematode. I do not want any credit at all as you have done all the bloddy hard leg work and research. The only credit i will take is if there is any errors in my typings:damn:

HATS OFF FOR NEMATODE:rock:

There to download.

I OWE TO SAY THAT MY FILES ARE "DIMENSION FIXED" *.sim FILES........

Great job! The only problem is, the zip file Mav87th created conflicts with the Ship Dimension Fix mod created by Krupp. Could these two perhaps be merged together?

Someone needs to let the Ubi devs know about this horsepower issue, so it can hopefully make it in as a fix in the 1.3 patch.

:yep:

Sorry but couldn't find an icon that portraits better the "BOW BEFORE YOU" concept:rock:

Great stuff and amazing amount of research!

Mav87th -- By all means, please feel free to make a mod from the research. Thanks for the kudos :)

Ok, ok, we're here, seen this, looking into it.

Very good and documented work, this will surely make its way into 1.3

Good to hear that!

Hey I installed Real Fleet Boat, love it to pieces. I can't say enough good about the realism. But I noticed merchant ships will still "stall out" occasionally. When first detected, merchies have a tendancy to stop dead and attempt (usually without success) to start zig-zagging.

Do I need to install the Nematodes Merchant Horsepower Fix on top of Real FLeet Boat?? I know little about installing mods for this game, so I've been doing it like I do for all other games, just unzip, then copy. Will that ruin anything if I install that particular mod?
