A comparable boat like this (maybe a bit bigger) used to be stationary anchoring near the Holstentor in Lübeck many years ago, in the 70s and 80s. It did never move out, but was used as a restaurant. With many colourful lights in the darkness, and a cozy golden glow around it, it used to cast a spell on this young boy's mind that I was back then. Add to this reflections on the water, some impressively huge trees, and the silhouette of the Holstengate in the background, and you have an almost magical scene.

But it's no longer there. Don't know if it moved out by own power, or was sunk in place. :D

it probably got too fat and sank!
