Ok FIREWALL, we need all the guys to get together and drink a lot of beer and eat deviled eggs, then make him walk the Flatulence gauntlet. :rotfl:

Seriously, what would stop Ubisoft from releasing a SDK. They're aware of how vibrant the mod community is with SH3 and SH4. Is it because they've licensed tools from third parties in the SDK and therefore can't release it without breaking their licensing agreement? Is it because they're protecting the proprietary tools in it because they don't want other companies attempting a subsim and thus creating competition in a market that they have cornered? Or is it because they think that they won't sell more copies even with a SDK release? (I'm partial to that explanation because when you think like a big company, it all boils down to $$$)

What do you all think?

Just imagine what mods could do having a proper SDK at their disposal....

Well, look how the flight sim series has taken off, and they have had an SDK for years and sales has'nt been badly hit, in fact their comunity seems to be thriving,
