No croping here either. SH4, like most new games, was made to work in widescreen without a problem, other than the extra pixels the graphics card has to push. I'd hate to have to go back to my old 19" CRT.

I can usually cruise over open water at 3K TCed before seeing the staccato chronometer winding that tells me the card is being stressed.

I know what you mean. Yes this thing is a monolith and thats another reason to move up. Btw you got me curious and mines 181\2" deep.YIKES!
I've got my eye on a 22" 1000to1 cr 2ms I think the brand is called Acer or something close for $200.00. The weekend is here ,I guess it's about to spend some money.:D

There are some really sweet 24" out there as well, if you want to go big but not BIIIG all the way, if you know what I mean. This is a pretty good Monitor test site...but in German only...sorry
