In AOD the DDs also had a hard time detecing you when you were lying on the botton, except, when they knew where you were before you laid the boat down on the botton. In shallow waters I managed to evade DDs by lying on the ground before they detected me. The I waited till the passed and moved on. That way I could even sneak through the Channel in 1944. Took longer than going around the British Isles though :damn:
