I can confirm that at least on my first patrol after installing the 1.2 patch, I noticed this problem. In my case, I left Pearl on 10th December 1941, I 'parked' outside Hokaido (as there was such rain and fog that I was literally passing unnoticed in side a convoy - no joy though on a solution even on automatic, it was impossible to manually even lock a ship) and waited until January 3rd, when things calmed down slightly. However, I had to quit there (I have to catch a flight in 2 hrs :)) and I did not try hunting, nor have I any idea whether the problem persists. Oh, and one more thing: Parking on 'All Stop' (with game realism set at limited fuel) meant that after nearly 3 weeks of waiting my fuel reserves were down to 37%, hardly enough to begin hunting AND return to Midway to refuel. I do not yet report it as a 'bug' since I feel there is too much suspicion going on with Patch 1.2 that even the slightest thing now is a bug. I wonder if others have similar experience when starting new patrol, Dec. 1941 after installing patch 1.2 . No such problem was noted in v. 1.1 |
I think the fuel issue is a bug. Simply sitting and your fuel runs out is a problem. Unless another sub is sneaking in under the cover of darkness and syphoning your fuel.;)
The weather issue, this is the first time I have seen a post on it. I did not see yours. I really do not know what to say because I have not run into this problem. Currently I'm on patrol 2 with patch 1.2. I had rain for three days and it cleared up. My games weather is certainly not like SH3 weather. Lets see if this thread has some more posters with the same issue. Possibly a mod tweek that all have in common or it is just the game although my weather seems fine. |
