I guess we will have to wait a few decades before a game like this will be accepted by the community.

There was a saying that time treats everything.... In this case KURSK is real sub not an abstract name.
If they gave another name for this game with no connection to real sub, KURSK.
make a money on human losses.... sorry

Drebbel 04-06-07 09:40 AM

All historical war games make money about human losses. It is the chance to loose you life, the danger, that makes war so interesting.

And many more people make money on it, defence industry, journalists, etcetera

But I dont play wargames on current wars. Like Bagdad etc.
Both of my grandpa's were killed by WWII , one in Stalingrad anotherone died after ww2 due to wounds. and i didnt see anything immoral playing sh3 for example. BUT if someone palying the game like NAZI HONOUR (fictional) . its a sickness. if some one playing pilot who drops bombs on Hirosima / Nagasaki ---its a sickness

Drebbel 04-06-07 09:52 AM

Hmmm, don't push it guys, be polite to each other. Otherwise the link will be reposted on the front page :D

Drebbel

PS: My grandpa died aboard a Jap vessel that was torpedoed by the allies. Still I like playing SH4. Probably a sickness too.
