yep, there is no way to rtb or get home, its happend to me a few times before.

The USS Grenidier lost her propulsion in a depth charge attack and they tried to rig a sail too. It didn't work but it was worth the try.

Yep, this missing rudder happened to me once.. all the sudden I was heading for an island.. I hit return to course.. nothing.. sat for days trying to repair.. nothing (obviously)... I had to restart the mission.

This is where calling for help or abandoning ship would come in handy... you either are rescued or captured.

Use the dive planes to create drag (sb or port) and use that to steer the boat. :sunny:
