just fininshed a Hirioshima photo recon, ack peroscope depth, ping the bottom, 5 ft under keel!!

back on topic: you must target a ship with the scope, then the camera thingy lights up, take picture [click on lit up camera icon], then proceed to film more ships docked in harbour..

Just for the sake of clarity, do you target a ship simply by positioning the scope so the little colored triangle appears over it, or is there a key or command you have to have to press to "lock" it in?

I tried a photo mission last night, and couldn't get the camera icon to light up, but my guess is that I wasn't close enough.

i have a problem with my career mode.
I finished the 1st mission - no problems. Went back to my homebase and then I could start the second mission.

1st mission was a patrol - completed succesfull.
2nd mission is to deliver the agent to this island.
So I delivered the agent, he got off my ship and I sailed back to homebase. (Pearl Harbour)

Now here is the problem:
When I´m starting the next mission, the game wants me to do the SAME mission as before AGAIN (delivering agent).
I played the agent mission now 2 times. Both times the mission was succesfull.
But I do not get the next mission....

It can´t be, that I do have to play the second mission 2 times, if I succeded in it.

Anyone here with the same problem?
Any solutions?

yes, the triangle was yellow when it lit up and i had pressed "L" to lock scope.

i was using everything on realism except manual TDC and no map contacts and very hard difficulty, i have no idea when i go full 100% realism how i will do it since there will be no yellow triangle on 100%. i imagine i will just need to lock the scope close to the target?

Does the camera icon only come into use in Photo Recon missions?

When I put my cursor over it , it read that it can be used with any pscope on L -locked targets> I locked a target and it still didn't work.

Either it needs to be fixed, or its just supposed to be for recon missions??
