Not so much the poor man's dual core, but the technological pre-cursor to it. For a while you could get dual core's with HT and yes they would display four graphs. Since the advent of multiple cores on a single dye, the HT technology was phased out.

Thanks for answering my question, Ive been out of the loop for a while and Im needing to hear these things so I can make an informed purchase on my new machine :)
