I'm in CG-94 right now (March 1941) 87,854 tons & 4 torpedoes left. Been in the area a bit over a week--mostly unescorted large freighters and a couple of convoys.

This is on approaches to Gyb --lots of airplanes though.

So Far...

Early patrol prior to Norway falling - I patrolled off of Scapa Flow and came across a Battle group of 5 King George V BB and 5 or 6 DD's. They were moving at 21 knots and I was way out of position to get them.
1940 - I have recently patroled off of the North of Ireland in the approaches to Glasgow and Dumfries. So far 2 Passenger liners and 8 tankers in 2 patrols.
Good Hunting

Nope. But given the lad's obvious wisdom and intelligence, he is clearly aspiring to the world of bigger and better things, which means he will shortly be graduating to a IXB.

On the other hand, going all the way to NY or Freetown just to sink a passenger liner is an investment in fuel and time...:D

Nevermind the metric crapload of unescorted tankers and merchies you'll find on the way! The liner is just the icing on the cake!
