Well they wont DC you as they are docked
:rotfl:
The game isnt smart enough to " move " docked ships
If you place a ship in port without docking it but 0 speed then chances are it will be UNDER the port when rendering is complete

Guess thats why the Devs left ports empty

leeclose 03-02-07 06:12 PM

Nope theese guys were moving and there were 2 docked.

bigboywooly 03-02-07 06:15 PM

:hmm: GWX 1.02 ?

leeclose 03-02-07 06:24 PM

Yup 1.02 which im pretty impressed with:up:

bigboywooly 03-02-07 06:31 PM

Well part of it worked then
:rotfl:
At least you have other ships arrive on scene now
Now why dont they DC :hmm:

Were they DD or patrol craft

leeclose 03-02-07 06:34 PM

Ok working from memory here one i think was a V&J the other was a armed trawler:hmm:

bigboywooly 03-02-07 06:43 PM

Ok thanx
Most odd
Not sure were the V&W came from :rotfl:

Restarted the patrol. Not much point in pushing up the realism if that crap happens. Besides since I opened my big mouth and mentioned glitch I couldnt really come in here shouting 'I've sank 600000 tonnes!' although that estimate may be a bit high. Still looking good for the new patrol. 1 tramp, 1 small and not a torp fired yet. Lining up a bead on a large merchie now, even have him silhouetted against the moon. He looks very pretty in a manly, gonna kick your ass kinda way! If i figure out how to post screenshots i might put it up here. That is if i figure out how to take a screen shot first:yep:

Ctrl + F11 and you've got a screenie saved in your SH3 folder.

bigboywooly 03-02-07 07:34 PM

Or get yourself a 3rd party program
I use screenhunter

Put the pics in a folder of my choice and saves as JPG
Plus lots more options

I use imageshack to host my pics
There is a good explanation in the 2 pic threads in the SH3 section of how to upload

Fraps is another good one so you can even make movies of all the fun bits(sinking skimmer)

Now does that ship look like its going down? It did. I sank it, personally sat at the gun. Watched it disappear below the waves. And no icon, nothing in captains log. Theres gremlins at work here i tell ya!! Its my tramp steamer by the way

leeclose 03-02-07 08:19 PM

I've had that happen to me once kinda annoying and to top it all off i was heading back to wili ten mins ago at x1024 to turn round to see your dead you collided with another ship no warning no nothing another funny wee gwx glitch maybe.
