Hope so. I haven't seen too many games (if any IIRC) that went gold within a week of their proposed release date. I assume there's a certain cutoff date -- right around a week before release -- for gold status that would unfortunately mean a release date delay.

I did see one game that hit stores a while back about 1 week after the published "Gold Date". After asking around, I found out the game actually went Gold a week or so prior but the news wasn't published right away. I don't know if it is the same for this title though. I imagine "no", since one of the beta testers said they were still testing.

It's either going Gold in the next three (3) days or it's going to be a blue monday ...

I'll keep on watching for it ... nothing can keep me from enjoying this sub sim ...
My very own fleet boat and crew to treat anyway I want to ... :arrgh!:

...and there is another possibility - the game goes Gold but is not it is not announced right away. :88)

Hopefully, it will be announced - SOON - and we will all be happy.

It will be released in the middle of March, even if it is unfinished because end of March is also the end of the fiscal year for Ubisoft.:know:

Well, I pre ordered the game like most of you guys. If it comes out on time, great, if it doesn't I won't be surprised.

I preordered also,from GoGamer.com,they say MARCH-6 release date!!!:rotfl:

With the release of a new PC game, you never now when your torpedoes are "running, hot, straight, and normal" or not. I've been checking some of the gaming sites this week and other than seeing the North American release date is now 3/13/07, I have not seen any indication that SHIV has gone gold yet.

cappy70 03-02-07 08:17 PM

hehehe,,maybe they do the other way around this time: first they release the game and THEN they say it has gone gold.,, just to prove that they released it so fast that the gold didn't "catch up".

You know E = mr2,,,,,,,,,:rotfl: :arrgh!:
