Thanks for the pictures! Hadn't seen those before.
Sorry for moving things off topic. |
Only 2 different depth settings for depth charges ???
very difficult chase a submarine with this limitation. :hmm: |
I have the Bruckheim book and there are some really excellent photo's in there. In the forward the author states that he had packed these rolls of film away and found them years later. Glad that he did.***
***Sailor Steve - don't get mad at me for hikjacking the thread. ;) Barkhorn. |
Found an old WW2 video of depth charges being dropped, but couldn't find anything from the inside of a sub..

That's pretty damn cool. You have to wonder if the Destroyer crews ever regreted seeing oil and debree after a depth charge's detonation or if it was just glee. After all, it is killing 60-70 fellow seamen at one go.
|
torplexed have you got more of those kind of pic's ?

I say this in spite of the fact that I was somewhat sickened when I took radio reports from the marines thanking us for fire support and giving body counts. Oh, and it's spelled "debris". |

Yea, the shaking and sorta blur during a depth charge would make it a bit more freaky and add a lot to the feel of the game.. and should not be that hard for them to add.... I would think.
