You can get past the download limit by switching your router off and on, asuming your not on a fixed ip...

Just one of many thoughts.....Your ISP has and does exercise their right to monitor/log all account traffic :yep:

I can apreciate the sentiment, but its really not a problem for my isp or even other users of my isp. Out of the many thousands of users only 100 may wish to download from that site and very few if any would hit an already used ip. If they did a reboot would likely fix thier problem.

So it only affects rabidshare and Im still going to download the same ammount of data only having to wait longer. (so the effect to them is marginal too)

I got my version off Gameshadow. It was listed as a recommended mod. Good D/l speed too, about 700kbs. I don't know if you guys had to pay to put it up on there or not but was painless to get it off.

May I take this opportunity to thank the modders for the release too. It's freakin awesome!

No it was kindly hosted at Gameshadow for us

The update patch wont be anywhere near as big as the release itself so a lot of different mirrors will be used

Well im sure you will be able to get the patch from all of the sites that you got GWX from so i dont really see what the problem is. The are plenty of different uploads that you can try. I have to agree with what was said before in this thread by a fellow beta tester. Under NO cuircimstances should the GWX team pay to host a the mod on any site. It's a FREEWARE MOD. I.E FREE!!!

The obvious benefit being that it was also only one file :yep:
