August, for the record, I agree mister Elite_hunter is well, wrong but I don't agree with your assessment of the Yugoslav crisis. Milosovic was a stupid, wicked bastard, but he was not alone (Tudjman the Croatian Prsident thanked God his wife was "neither Serb nor Jew") and while I think some kind of complete or partial split was inevitable, it was accelerated and worsened by outside interference (Germany, Russia, finally the US to counter Russia).

While Elite_hunter is on crack if he thinks Yugoslavia would be the powerhouse of Europe, it was the most developed, prosperous and yes "free" (in comparison) with other East Bloc states, many citzens of Bulgaria and Romania dreamed of going to Yugoslavia. Finally, Serbia was a loyal ally in 2 world wars and they paid a very expensive price. Cheers buddy. ;) And cheers to Gundak who seems alright too.

thing is reason why serbs now dislike or have a hatred towards croatians is because the croatian army also massacred serbs, difference was croatian army was under government control while serb paramilitary (black scorpions etc..) who were NOT under the control of milosevic government massacred albanians, bosnian muslim , croats. thats why alot of serbs now say the croats are a evil regime because the government ordered the army to commit the killings and historical reasons (support of nazi germany and extermination of slavs and jews).

edit* reason why i support the country of yugoslavia is because my entire family back home and friends back home say yugoslavia was better then split up countries now because of economy, stability, very little crime, health and education was paid for, it may not be the best health care system back then but at least it was sufficient enough to sustain us and keep us rid of disease and sickness.
