What I do is once I hit the 50% fuel mark I start working my way back to port. I figure if 50% got me this far 50% will get me home. Also, if needed I run slow to conserve fuel because sometimes on the way home you get some opportunities to sink vessels. It is this time that you need to "pour on the coals" in hot pursuit. When I hit 25% I take the shortest route home. :know:

Isn't there a bug where if you dock in the pen, you lose the renown bonus for having reached home port?
