Don't remember that Polish 1st Armoured Division captured Wilhelmshaven city and Kriegsmarine base at 6 May 1945.

Somebody must have been using the really old maps from the times that Poland laid between the Baltic and the Black Sea. :D

From 1400 to 1600 - it were happy times for Poland, one of the most important European countries this era.

Sailor Steve, good choice. Husaria was the most famous heavy cavalry from all of Europe, it's a typical Polish type of cavalry. Wings were their characteristic symbol, useful against Tartar's lasso (arkan in Polish). Hussars always fought at first line for breaking enemy's lines. Pancerni fought at second line, because they equipment wasn't so heavy (Lithuanian name - petyhorcy, because Lithuania was part of Poland this time).
Poland always had fantastic cavalry, from medieval era to 2nd WW.

I'm Polish, or lets say I was told I was Polish some time ago and believed in it (seems quite possible as I live in Poland, speak Polish and have a Polish passport), so… what was I to say…

Sinking Polish ships gives me the greatest fun and excitement ever! They are fantastic, so hopeless and defendless… I enjoy it from Silent Hunter II, where the first mission was to sink three Polish destroyers fleeing to GB. In SH3 I sunk 2 Polish vessels as for now, made occasional photos and send some home to wife and children see their brave father in action. ;)

PS Only being sunk yesterday by a British DD in Thames gave me even more excitement than sinking Poles. :)
