As per the rules at WaW...

...oh bah, to heck with the rules!

Just imagine an official exchange that starts with "Herr azn_132, as per flottille regulations..."

The point is that WaW is about history-based immersion; there's certainly some concessions (like female commander identities), but it's a reasonable rule to have proper german names for german commanders. There's also officials like BdU (Karl Doenitz) and von (Ludwig von Otterstein) who don't need to have a full member name given their admininstrative role. Combat captains, though... I don't see how to get around it!

It's easy to get used to and makes the game easier and less distracting for everyone, though!

For which I am very appreciative. Thank you. :smug:

Is there a teamspeak server for WaW?

Why would there be? Its set as it would be in WW2, you use the dynamic campaign to patrol the grids you're given by the BdU at Wolves. So you're playing by yourself, but are part of a community

And by the way, I rejoined as Klaus Scholtz

how anti-social.....I guess I wouldn't want to talk to you people anyway....

I haven't seen much of the others, but I really enjoy reading about Warda's adventures.

Haha, yes, I agree. Warda is pretty cool.

Yes, Warda has quite a fan club at WAW. Especially among those of us in her flottille
