God I used to love that show. I haven't seen an episode in ages. All I remember is it used to crack me up in a big way. They don't make sitcoms like they used to. *sigh*

Anyway my gifts were:
- a watch
- 3 new sportshirts
- a CD organizer
- a best buy card w/$50
- a stainless steel BBQ tools set
- a handmade picture from my 4 year old son (my best gift of all!)

Then I got sick as a dog because my daughter kept waking me up every hour on the hour to open gifts. No sleep=sick as dog:dead:

Not a thing. Not even a call from my kids. Or my sister. Sorry to be down, but that's the way it works sometimes. I did get a free meal at the shelter.

AAVGWarhawk, your socks remind me of a memory from when my kids were small. As a kid I always hated getting clothes (don't we all?), but when my kids were little it was something they new I needed, and I really learned to appreciate it.

When I was a kid I used to con my parents into agreeing that clothes were a standard obligation for a parent--give me books and records, no clothes, please. :sunny:

Got a copy of K-19 the Widowmaker and the complete hardback set of Aubrey-Maturin novels by Patrick O-Brien. Sweet.

Letum 12-26-06 11:55 PM

1 x Wooly jumper
4 x Socks
1 x Book
1 x Bottle of port
1 x Bottle of malt whisky

I needed the socks bro....no doubt. I appreciate the new undercloths for sure! Sometimes a practical Christmas is the best Christmas.

I got myself the 6800XT and a Tracker IR4 Pro. Nosehair trimmer and sweater from the "Warden". Gift card for Chick-fila and BestBuy from the kids and grandkids. Average take for an old f@rt. ;) LOL

COD2 is ok, but MOH Pacific Assault kicks butt. That was another early present for me from me. For $9.84 you can't go wrong. ;) Thankyou Wal-Mart. LOL

But the best part of Christmas this year was sending the original boxed SHIII to a SuBSim member in Iraq. And I thank a good Dr. in Wisconsin who made it possible, and was in on it with me. ~S!~

That's the best gift I have seen yet. :yep:

My reply sounded more down than I meant it too. In actuality things aren't going all that bad, and I don't normally think about Christmas much anyway. What had me ready to explode was that my local library, which I expected to be closed on Christmas, was also closed Sunday, when they are normally open.

I had to go two whole days without getting online at all! Oh, well, I had checked out three books on Saturday, so I had plenty to read.
