Odd
I just clicked it in your post and got mega upload |
I didn't do the MD5, but I did blow everything off the hard drive and reinstall. Without SH3 Commander installed yet, I was able to make a career in SH3 directly with the 30th/33rd Flotilla. So it looks like whatever problem I was having it was mine and mine alone.
Thanks for the help. |

If so, you need to make the days inbetween patrols -----> 55 days. I read it in the GWX manual concerning using Commander. |

Yes, I loaded the GWX files needed for Commander. I think what happened is what others have said. I forgot to double check before I hit start. No big deal, just delete campaign and start a new one. |
There doesnt seem to be Torpedo visuals when selecting them in port?

1st Flotilla 2nd Flotilla 7th/13th Flotilla <note the difference!> 10th Flotilla 11th Flotilla 23rd/29th Flotilla <note the difference!> 12th Flotilla 30th/33rd Flotilla <note the difference!> for the Flotillas AND you have GWX installed, then SH3Cmdr has not been correctly set up to point to your GWX installation. Make sure you use the /l switch appropriately. |
What a fantastic mod - thanks folks! :D
A funny thing happened to me in El- Ferrol. I had fled to the nearest neutral port to patch up my boat after a disastrous passage through the channel.... I stopped a few hundred yards off the wharf in El-Ferrol and ended the mission. My only option to end patrol was to return to base - which I clicked on.... and then suddenly I ended in Willhelmshaven! LOL  Probably user error on my part but the Spanish were very helpful! :rotfl: Vermin |
A bit off topic, but does the GWX Auto-Installer check the game exe files?

I installed GWX and everything is fine except that I don't have any sound! At first I could hear a bit of music but I had to turn up the volume to almost 100% and now the sound is gone completly.:nope: Do you have a clue whats wrong?

Strange issue with Pyro ship skin
This is the Pyro Ship I found in North Sea today. As you can see, there are a lot of textures or polygons missing:

Started patrol in Jan 1942....encountered 2 tankers and a med cargo SW of ireland, all flying Irish Flag.
Then encountered single Medium Cargo which I sank with deck gun within 10 rounds aimed below waterline at long range......bit suprised she sank so quickly. As a manual targeting kinda guy, I really miss the slide out TDC mod that appears in NYGM 2.2.....any chance it could be added or is there a reason why not ? I ask because i'd be happy to add it myself if its compatible. Thats it so far...except the crew fatigue model, gonna have to turn that off as everyone had red eclamation marks after crossing BoB.....way to quick. Also damage model didn't deactivate at high compressions. Just to note, clean install + patch, no mods, using SH3 Com 2.7 with GWX CFG files installed. Cheers, Hans. |
Ships' Textures
On the subject of the Pyro, it seems the correct deck texture got omitted by mistake (it was a busy time for the team after all). The UV Mapping was corrected on all of my ships by ref, and new deck textures were made by Boris to match the new deck areas. Hopefully, we will be able to release the correct versions in an update.
You may also notice that the Chatham has this problem as well, and the Rose Castle is not the correctly UV Mapped version. |
ok..after uncorrupting the 1st install of gwx it seems to be stable...however..how the hell do i get the subskin to change/..i prefer fubars dark rusty 9b..i tried to load it into textures tnormal tex as before..no dice..any ideas?....:damn:
