I betraid my fellow Norwegians, fighting them in a seawolves-thread, and causing one of them to end up in the brig
Your name shall go down in history alongside Quisling's.

But I still wanna say that this project of yours looks great, Safe-Keeper
Thank you. The best part is seeing how non-Norwegians show their interest, too. I knew the Norsemen at this forum would love the idea, but how foreigners would view the mod, I had no idea.

With great anticipation SK thats how
:rotfl:
You have a vested interest to cover your countries exploits better than someone from outside the region
Am looking forward to it

Don't think you have to worry about that. This is one community who downloads the mods released by the community. And in GWX there is a new port and flotilla, Trondheim, which makes your mod even more interesting.

Tho I be in your category of non-Norwegian, I'm looking forward to it. Sounds interesting and fun. Can't wait to give it a go.

Ditto on that:up: ---the interest is out there so get to work:lol:

There is a lot of work behind that site, all the names of the 3638 Norwegian sailors who lost their lives in the Atlantic are listed there, including 5 members of my family.

I wonder if there is a similar site about the British and American merchant fleet during the war?

Truly. It's one impressive site. His father sure did serve on a lot of ships. Respect to him.

OK, so several people have been asking for updates (here's loving y'all:oops:!), so I thought I'd bump this thread with an answer to the request.

I've decided to do monthly updates on Norwegian Operations, unless something very important comes up (such as the designer waking up one morning to find the trolls have finished the whole project for me). This means that you can expect the next update on December 1st at the earliest. I've already written a draft (it's quite long), so it shouldn't be too delayed.

Subwolf 11-21-06 05:04 PM

Monthly? :o

May I ask when you plan to release the mod? I'm not pushing ya, just would be nice to know when we can expect to install it ;)

Safe-Keeper 11-21-06 05:12 PM

It'll be a long while yet. It won't come out this year, for sure, it's quite a big project, actually. More on that in the update.

Subwolf 11-21-06 05:22 PM

Sounds good mate, looking forward to the update
