I've had the original SH since the old Packard Bell 486 DX2 days, and played the hell out of it with all expansion packs. I was able to get it to kinda work on the P3, but video and audio were a pain to get working right.
I've done the SH on WinXp thing until I discovered SHIII, which has been my favorite for about a year now. Haven't done much flyin' because of this one. And I really like WWII flight sims. |
well........4 days of "teasing", anything new on the "Announcement"?

So what do I win? |
I tried to run it, but never got it to work!:damn::damn::damn::damn:
|
Dumb question Run what?
|
Probably GWXI, the new expansion by X1.
|
Man I need to get that
|
I never got Silent Hunter (SHI) to run. I've never used GW or any super mods yet, I'm still having too much fun with the vanilla stock game (with extra ships, aircraft, and a couple of extra mods here and there to add to the experience)

I got into Silent hunter with the current sh3 incarnation so I know next to nothing about the original--but onkel neal's post has now piqued my interest.
Has the original been licensed to subsim and neal & gang heading into development waters with an updated version?? If that is anywhere close to the mark--do I win anything? |
